Summer Camps

Each summer, South Piedmont offers an exciting lineup of summer camp opportunities for students ages 10-18. Camps focus on specific topics, such as law enforcement, art, the skilled trades, and leadership. Check our website in the spring of each year for information on upcoming camps and how to register.

Smart Start Resource Center

Funded by the Alliance for Children, the Smart Start Resource Center is a lending library offering more than 5,000 educational resources for children ages 0-5. The Smart Start Resource Center is available to Union County families and childcare providers, as well as South Piedmont students and employees. It is located on the Old Charlotte Highway campus.

Board Meetings

We recognize that transparency is essential to maintaining public trust and fostering productive relationships with members of our community. Our Board of Trustees meetings are open to the public. Board agendas and meeting minutes are available online.

Disc Golf

Our Old Charlotte Highway campus is home to one of the largest disc golf courses in North Carolina, and our L.L. Polk Campus in Polkton features a challenging course of its own. Both courses are free and open to the public.
