Health Information Technician

careerstep logoHealth Information Technicians help support the use of technology in a healthcare setting.  They ensure the quality of electronic health records by verifying their accuracy and proper storage.  This 584 hour-self paced on-line program will prepare students for the Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist (CEHRS), the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA), and the CompTIA A+ certification exams.  This program is broken into 2, 4-month parts.  Students must complete Part I before they can register for Part II.

  • Part I, $180
  • Part II, $200
