Compass Education

What is Compass Education? (formerly Compensatory Education)
Compass Education (Comp Ed) is a free academic-based program for adults with a focus on daily living and basic life skills. Classes focus on helping the individual become as independent and self- directed as possible.

Students must be 18 years of age and released from public school either by graduation or withdrawal.

The curriculum for the program is grounded in reading, writing and math. In Comp Ed classes these skills are taught through real life, practical applications. Classes emphasize independent living skills, responsibility, and problem- solving for daily living.
