SPCC is seeking applications for a Medical Sonography Program Director for the Academic Affairs Division. This is a 12-month, full-time position located on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus in Monroe. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sonography, Health Sciences, or a related field; Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in one or both of the following specialties: Abdomen and/or OB/GYN; Minimum of two years of full-time professional experience as a general sonographer and/or vascular technologist; Documented experience as a clinical or didactic instructor in a general sonography and/or vascular technology program; Proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and guidance; Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; Working knowledge/utilization of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software applications.
