Law Enforcement In-Service Training

Missing and Abducted Children
2 hours/credits

Classes will start at 0800 hours and end at 1000 hours each day.
Classes will meet at the Mobile Classroom at the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
Each class must have a minimum of 10 students and a maximum of 24 students


Storm Spotting

2 hours/credits

Classes will start at 1000 am and end at 1200 noon each day.
Classes will meet at the Mobile Classroom at the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
Each class must have a minimum of 10 students and a maximum of 24 students.


Officer Safety: Use of Force

4 hours/credits

Classes will start at 1300 hrs. and end at 1700 hrs. each day.
Classes will meet at the Mobile Classroom at the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
Each class must have a minimum of 10 students and a maximum of 24 students.

Use of Force Scenario Training 4 hours/credits
10 students minimum, 12 students maximum
Waxhaw PD Training Room

Students will train on the VIRTRA firearms simulator in use of force scenarios. No firearms or ammunition allowed in the simulator room. Officers should bring their duty belts or their normal mode of carry gear.
Due to the one student to one instructor ratio of this training, the maximum number of students must be enforced. Please email me if you or your officers will be attending. Those on my list will get to participate if more than 12 show up on training day. Others may be turned away.

Standardized Field Sobriety Testing --- Refresher Training 8 hours/credits
Minimum of 10 students, maximum of 24 students per class

SFST Refresher training is intended for officers that have previously completed the 24 hour NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Testing program.
