Merry Christmas!

The Insider - December 2013

Members of our Student Government Association (SGA), faculty, and staff have been busy making sure South Piedmont stays off Santa’s “naughty list” this year by spreading holiday cheer in Christmas parades in both Wadesboro and Monroe. Maybe you saw them there.

SGA members started off the Union County Christmas Parade.

Later in the line-up, students and instructors from Compass Education brought holiday cheer to the crowd. (Compass Education is the new name for Comp Ed. It is an academic-based Basic Skills program for adults 18 years of age or older. Classes focus on helping the individual become as independent and self-directed as possible.)

SGA wished those lining Wadesboro streets a “Merry Christmas!”—and worked in a plug for Spring classes.
