    South Piedmont Community College Vice President of Student Services Elaine Clodfelter has released the names of students who have been included on the President’s List and Dean’s List for the Spring Semester 2013.

    The SPCC Foundation board of directors honored the late Bob Mayberry Jr., a longtime board member and benefactor of South Piedmont Community College, at a luncheon on Jan. 10.

    South Piedmont Community College collected six boxes for Toys for Tots this holiday season. 



  • SPCC Foundation honors Carpenter

    The SPCC Foundation honored longtime South Piedmont Community College advocate Frank Carpenter on Tuesday night by naming him a director emeritus of the SPCC Foundation Board of Directors. 



  • Future Educators Club donates clothing to East Elementary

    South Piedmont Community College’s Future Educators Club donated boxes containing 27 coats, 40 hats, 62 pairs of gloves, 105 pairs of socks and 40 uniform shirts to East Elementary School in Monroe on Wednesday morning. 



  • College Transfer Fair well attended

    Representatives from 19 public and private four-year schools set up shop at South Piedmont Community College on Monday and were kept busy by SPCC students eager to learn about their options for transfer. 



  • SPCC expands College and Career Transitions program

    South Piedmont Community College’s College and Career Transitions program is gearing up for its second semester starting Jan. 7. The program is adding a new component: allowing students to work on their GED or Adult High School diploma while enrolled in a college-level class.
