Paintball Day at Paintball Kingdom in Marshville
Saturday, October 1, 10am - 2pm
SPCC Student Government is putting on a Paintball Day for students, faculty, and staff at Paintball Kingdom in Marshville on Saturday, October 1. We will play from 10am until 2pm. The cost for SPCC students, staff, and faculty is only $10.
$10 will include gun, co2, mask, and 500 paintballs. You can play after shooting your initial 500 paintballs, but will be required to purchase your own supplies after that.
Only 50 people can play at a time, so to secure a spot you must pay Mike Maffucci at the Old Charlotte Highway Campus in Monroe, or Toni Carpenter at the L.L. Polk Campus in Polkton. Payments accepted are cash or check made payable to “SPCC SGA.” We will take the first 50 who pay, or whoever has signed up by the end of the day on Friday, September 23. The $10 deposit is non-refundable.
To keep things fair, you must use the guns provided by Paintball Kingdom.

NASCAR Simulators at L.L. Polk and Old Charlotte Highway Campuses

Would you like to win free tickets to the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 15? How about a pizza party before the race with a driver from the Coca-Cola Racing Family? It could be Biffle, Bowyer, Kurt Busch, Burton, Hamlin, Labonte, Lagano, McMurry, Newman, or Stewart. SPCC Student Government will have a NASCAR Simulator at the Monroe campus on Monday, September 12, from 10am – 4pm, and at the Polkton campus on Tuesday, September 13, from 10am – 4pm. The simulator is a Jeff Gordon race car, that was modified into a realistic simulator, complete with sound and hydraulics. Prizes will be awarded to the competitors with the two fastest individual lap times. All racing on the simulator will be done at Charlotte Motor Speedway. PRIZES 2nd Place at each campus will get 2 tickets to the Dollar General 300 on Friday, October 14. The seats are on the front stretch, Row 10. Whether you would like to compete for the prizes, or simply come out and enjoy watching your friends give it a whirl, we hope to see you there.
