IMPACT - Minority Male Mentoring Leadership Program was established by the North Carolina Community College System to assist colleges in providing opportunities and activities to improve the graduation rate of minority males and increase awareness of healthy coping strategies in order to avoid substance use.

  • Learners will increase their awareness of academic resources available to them.
  • Learners will report a positive mentoring relationship with their assigned mentor.
  • Learners will increase their understanding of the negative effects substance use has on their health, relationships, and careers.

MENTOR CORNERS

All IMPACT member will be assigned a mentor. The program mentors are professional men from the community. These mentors will provide ongoing support and will follow up with their mentees. (Mentor requirements)
