Username
Your username will be the initial of your first name, the first three letters of your last name, and the last four digits of your student or employee ID number. For example, Joe Smith's username is jsmi0001. Note that it's all in lower case and the 0001 represent the last four digits of his student ID number.
Password
The temporary password formula for new accounts is now Tempmmdd+. To enter your temporary password, type Temp with a capital T, then enter your two-digit birth month followed by your two-digit birthday, followed by the plus sign.The first time you log into Moodle, you are required to change your password.
Access Dates for Summer 2012
May 29 - June 4 for 8-week courses.
June 11 - June 13 for 6-week courses.
About Access Dates - Important!
Students must access their course for the first time and complete the listed Start-Up Activity before midnight on the last access day of the term. Students who do not access their courses and complete this activity will be dropped. This applies to courses with IN section numbers. Courses with B in their section numbers have to access their courses during the Access Dates and complete the listed Start-Up Activity or attend a seated class meeting. Check with your instructor to be sure.
Instructors do not wait until the last access date to begin the course. Course work and requirements begin at the start of the term. If a student misses assignments or assessments due to logging in on the last access date, instructors are not required nor are they encouraged to make special arrangements to make up learning activities missed.
