Our mission is to assist adults to learn and to obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for employment and self-sufficiency, assist adults who are parents to obtain the educational skills necessary to become full partners in the educational development of their children, and assist adults in the completion of a high school education.
The Adult Basic Skills program provides educational opportunities for adults to improve their reading, writing, mathematics, and communication skills through five major program components - Adult Basic Education, General Educational Development, Adult High School, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and Compensatory Education.
