Health Programs Admissions Requirements

South Piedmont Community College, serving Anson and Union counties, welcomes your interest in pursuing a career in one of our Health programs. Our programs include Associate Degree Nursing, Practical Nursing, Medical Sonography, Medical Assisting, Medical Laboratory Assistant and Surgical Technology.

Associate Degree Nursing
LPN Refresher (must be prior LPN)
Medical Assisting
Medical Laboratory Assistant
Medical Sonography
Surgical Technology
RN to BSN through Winston-Salem State University
Practical Nursing - Practical Nursing Algebra requirement has changed for 2012-2013 year.

Applications and all admission requirements must be met/submitted by the deadlines posted below for Fall 2012 class consideration:
Associate Degree Nursing, Medical Sonography: January 31, 2012
Surgical Technology and Practical Nursing: March 31, 2012
Medical Assisting and Medical Lab Assistant: May 31, 2012


PLEASE NOTE: SPCC will accept official copies of TEAS test scores sent from ATI Testing (www.atitesting.com) if you have taken it in the past IF it is the TEAS V version. Earlier versions cannot be accepted due to variances in test content. If you are not sure about what version of TEAS you have taken in the past, please contact ATI Testing Customer Service prior to ordering your test transcript.
