Personal interest classes starting in October
MONROE - The Corporate and Continuing Education Division at South Piedmont Community College has several personal interest classes starting in October. All will be taught on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus in Monroe.
Following is a list of classes, dates and times, and cost:
Small Engine Repair - Mondays and Wednesdays, Oct. 3-27, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., $79
Cake Decorating - Oct. 12, 9 a.m. to noon; Oct. 21, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Oct. 26, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Oct. 28, 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $49 for one session; participants need attend only one class.
Everyday Gourmet - Oct. 12, Latin, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., $19; Nov. 2, Italian, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., $19.
Financial Awareness Series - Foundations of Investing, Oct. 12, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.; The Rules of the Road, Oct. 19, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Protecting What's Important, Oct. 26, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Making Sense of Retirement, Nov. 2, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Cost is $15 per class or $49 for the series.
