The SPCC Student-Learning Arts and Sciences Department is seeking student applications to apply for a Federal Work-Study position in the Chemistry Department (job description). This is a part-time position, working 10–12 hours per week on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus and possibly the Polkton Campus. Requirements are as follows: Completion of high school chemistry; good math and lab skills; positive attitude; responsible and dependable work ethic.

Position will be open until filled.

Student Federal Work-Study applicants, the Federal Work-Study program is a federally funded program that provides part-time jobs for students who exhibit financial need. Students must have completed a current year's FAFSA application, be eligible for Federal Financial Aid, be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) at South Piedmont Community College, be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (GPA of 2.000 or higher, a completion rate of 67% or higher of attempted credit hours, not to exceed the maximum timeframe of 150%) to apply.
