The Academic Support Center is seeking student applicants to serve as Federal Work-Study assistants (job description). This is a part-time position, working 12 hours per week on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus. Requirements are as follows: High School education; excellent reading, math and computer skills; positive attitude; and ability to follow written directions.
Position will be open until filled.
Student Federal Work-Study applicants, the Federal Work-Study program is a federally funded program that provides part-time jobs for students who exhibit financial need. Students must have completed a current year's FAFSA application, be eligible for Federal Financial Aid, be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) at South Piedmont Community College, be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (GPA of 2.000 or higher, a completion rate of 67% or higher of attempted credit hours, not to exceed the maximum timeframe of 150%) to apply.
