The Vice President for the School of Arts and Sciences provides leadership and management to achieve a high standard of excellence and innovation in teaching and learning. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team and Chief Academic Officer, the Vice President will provide vision and overall guidance for academic policy, educational planning, program management, new program development, and professional growth of faculty and related staff. Required Qualifications:

• Masters (Doctorate preferred) in academic field or higher education degree;
• Teaching experience (community college preferred);
• Higher education administrative experience at division level or above (community college preferred);
• Strong and documented ability to collaborate with and develop effective partnerships with groups internally and externally.

This is a 12-month, full-time position that will involve working on both the Old Charlotte Highway Campus and the L.L. Polk Campus.
