Use of Facilities
South Piedmont Community College has a number of facilities available for community use, including the Conference Center on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus in Monroe and the Charles N. and Mary Alice Caudle Ingram Community Room at the Lockhart-Taylor Center in Wadesboro. Both rooms can accommodate up to 300 for events involving meals and approximately 600 for events set up auditorium style.
The college policy: Organizations and individuals in the community may reserve space in college facilities for meetings, workshops, and similar uses. Events must be educational in nature and/or must support the mission of SPCC. The college reserves the right to refuse use of facilities for events judged not to support the mission of the institution. All space requests should be filed at least two weeks prior to the planned event. All requests will be considered on a space-available basis.
