Multi-Skilled Nursing Assistant

Join us for this exciting program!

Classes are offered throughout the year. The program is progressive in nature and students must follow steps to progress through the program and obtain certification.

The goal of this program is to prepare students to do a wide variety of nursing skills. Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to perform higher nurse aide skills and administer medication after State testing.

There is no specific start and end date for this program. You will start with Step 1 and register for the listed courses and continue to move through the program with Step 2, Step 3 and Step 4.

Multi-Skill Nursing Assistant Pathway

Step 1
Nurse Aide I, 159 hours/12 weeks, $500 plus uniforms

Step 2 (contact Cheryl Brakefield, cbrakefield@spcc.edu or 704.290.5216 to register)
Medisoft, 20 hours/2 weeks (Can be done concurrently with NAI)
Customer Service, 4 hours/1 day (Can be done concurrently with NAI)

Step 3
Nurse Aide II, 160 hours/15 weeks, $500 plus uniforms
Medication Aide, 24 hours/2 weeks, $75 (Can be done concurrently with NAII)

Step 4
EKG Tech, 28 hours/8 weeks, $220
PEARS, 8 hours/1 week, $65 (Can be done concurrently with EKG Tech)

To Register Students Must Provide:

  • TABE Test Results
  • Immunization Records
  • Driver's License
  • Social Security Card
  • High School Diploma or GED
