This course will enable the student to obtain knowledge and skills in the following areas:

Resident Rights, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Infection Control, Proper Nutrition and Hydration, Feeding Techniques, Safety and Emergency Care, Assisting Residents with Dementia, Observing and Reporting Changes in Residents

This course will help the student obtain a position in assisted living facilities and rest homes.
