For operational efficiency, South Piedmont Community College is segmented into six major divisions: Student Learning, Student Success, Finance and Administrative Services, Information Services, Corporate and Continuing Education, and College and Community Relations.
 
  
The Senior Leadership Team is made up of the president, vice presidents and the executive director of the Information Services Division.
 
The Division of Student Learning is the heart of the institution and is responsible for all credit programs. Dr. Gene Loflin is Vice President of Student Learning.
 
The Division of Student Success is responsible for services to students, including Recruiting, Admissions, Financial Aid, Counseling, Testing, the Registrar’s Office, and Student Activities. Elaine Clodfelter is Vice President of Student Success.
 
The Finance and Administrative Services Division has responsibility for all business office functions, purchasing, bookstore operations, human resources, and the upkeep of college facilities. John De Vitto is Vice President of Finance and Administrative Services.
 
The Information Services Division, headed by Executive Director Ernest Simons, has responsibility for all college computing activities, including network administration, the community college system administrative computer network, telecommunications, and microcomputer operations.
 
The Division of College and Community Relations is responsible for marketing and communications, publications, the college Print Shop, graphics design, the SPCC Foundation, Inc., resource development, grants, planning, institutional research, and institutional effectiveness. Fred Sparger is Vice President of College and Community Relations.

The Corporate and Continuing Education Division is responsible for a wide range of personal and professional development programs. Programs include business training and development, certification/professional licenses, computer training, emergency services training, human resource development, and medical professions training. This division also offers a Small Business Center, online learning for business and industry, personal interests, and general interests. Stuart Wasilowski is the Vice President of Workforce Development and Continuting Education.
