SPCC student elected regional VP of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
The Anson Record, April 1, 2009South Piedmont Community College?s Alpha Omega Psi vice president of fellowship Dawn Dressman holds the Carolinas Region Five-Star Program Award during the Carolinas Regional Convention in Rock Hill, S.C. SPCC?s chapter was awarded several hallmarks at the convention. Dressman was elected regional vice president of North Carolina.

South Piedmont Community College (SPCC) student Dawn Dressman was elected North Carolina regional vice president of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society during the Carolinas Regional Convention in Rock Hill, S.C., March 20-22.

Dressman has served as the Alpha Omega Psi chapter vice president of fellowship at SPCC.

SPCC?s Alpha Omega Psi chapter received the Carolinas Region Five-Star Program Award and Award of Excellence ? Four Clover Chapter. Other awards included the Distinguished Chapter Honorable Mention, Distinguished Chapter President Honorable Mention to Donna Mizok, Distinguished Chapter Officer Honorable Mention to Gail Jacobs, Scholarship Hallmark Honorable Mention, Craig Pullen Leadership Hallmark Honorable Mention, Yearbook Award Honorable Mention, Horizon Award to SPCC Advisor Jaqueline El-Arab , Horizon Award and Paragon Award for Advisors Honorable Mention to SPCC Advisor Grant LeFoe, and Hall of Honor Awards for Monaliza Megherian and Gail Jacobs.
