SPCC Offers Classes on Internet Research For Legal Topics

WADESBORO – South Piedmont Community College’s Corporate and Continuing Education Division will offer three one-hour sessions on legal research on the Internet for laypeople. Classes will be on Tuesdays in the coming weeks at the Lockhart-Taylor Center, 514 N. Washington St.

“Finding Primary Legal Sources” will meet on June 21, “Court Opinions, Laws, and Regulations” will meet on June 28 and “Court Dockets and Related Documents” will meet on July 12. All courses will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The fee is $20 per session and students must register prior to class.

SPCC Librarian Maryellen Clarke, who also has a law degree, will instruct the sessions.
