SPCC Hosts 2011 Anson Career Connections Fair in Lockhart-Taylor Center

Despite heavy rain, this year’s Anson Career Connections Fair in South Piedmont Community College’s Lockhart-Taylor Center in Wadesboro attracted nearly 100 job seekers. The fair had 35 employers in attendance this year.

The college will host the Union Career Connections Fair in Building A on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus in Monroe on Friday, April 8, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. More than 50 employers are expected to be at the Union County event at 4209 Old Charlotte Highway, Monroe.

The Anson County event is sponsored by South Piedmont Community College, the Anson County Department of Social Services, the Anson County Chamber of Commerce, the Employment Security Commission and Vocational Rehabilitation.
