SPCC Entrepreneurship Programs Announced
South Piedmont Community College?s Small Business Center announced its lineup of entrepreneurship courses and seminars this week. The first workshop will be Thursday, Jan. 27, on the Old Charlotte Highway Campus, 4209 Old Charlotte Hwy., Monroe. It will present ?100 Businesses You Can Start from Home.?
?How to Start Your Business? will be presented in Monroe on Feb. 1 and in Wadesboro on Feb. 16. Other seminars include, internet marketing, coping with stress, bookkeeping and social networking. A complete list with detailed descriptions, dates, and times is being posted on SPCC?s website.
SPCC will also present the REAL entrepreneurship course in Monroe and Wadesboro. This is an intensive eight-week interactive program that covers every aspect of running a small business. Anyone may take this course, and dislocated or unemployed workers may qualify for registration fee waivers. Both courses start in February.
The Small Business Center partners with New Ventures Business Development Corporation and the Union and Anson chambers of commerce to make these presentations possible.
