Camp Treasure Fun Begins

Camp Treasure will be held from July 11 through Aug. 2 at the Lockhart-Taylor Center of South Piedmont Community College. All 8-15 year olds are encouraged to attend the fun and educational sessions.

The sessions will meet every Tuesday and Wednesday with topics such as Hemp Jewelry Making, Scrap Booking, Refuge Navigating, Treasure Your Self, Tropical Water Dives, Anson History and Literary Treasures. The Grand Finale Hot Dog Lunch will be Aug. 4.

The registration deadline is July 11. The Camp is sponsored by SPCC, Anson Arts and Historical societies, Allen Library, Anson Parks and Rec, Pee Dee Refuge/Friends, and Anson 4-H. To register, visit the Lockhart-Taylor Center, 514 N. Washington Street, Wadesboro or call 704-694-5456.
