SPCC Announces "How to Start a Business" Seminar
South Piedmont Community College's Small Business Center will present "How to Start Your Business" Monday, Feb. 21, 2-5 p.m. at the Lockhart Taylor Center, 514 N. Washington Street, Wadesboro. The seminar will cover everything you need to do to get your business up and running successfully. The presenter will be Lois Crumpler of New Ventures Business Development, Inc.

SPCC will also present the REAL entrepreneurship course in Wadesboro. This is an intensive six-week interactive program that covers every aspect of running a small business. Anyone may take this course, and dislocated or unemployed workers may qualify for registration fee waivers. The course dates are Feb. 28 - April 6 with classes meeting 3-6 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The Small Business Center partners with New Ventures Business Development Corporation and the Union and Anson chambers of commerce to make these presentations possible.
