In Honor of Mr. Tom Crooke

South Piedmont Community College lost a close friend and colleague last week with the passing of Mr. Tom Crooke, the chairman of our board of trustees. Mr. Crooke was a quiet hero in our community, volunteering countless hours to make the lives of area citizens better. He was especially proud of his service to SPCC and the difference it makes for the people it touches.

Our lives are better for having had the privilege of working with Mr. Crooke and we will miss him.

New Agreement to Smooth Transition from South Piedmont Community College to UNC System
The State Board of Community Colleges and the University of North Carolina Board of Governors signed a revised Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA), making college transfer options for South Piedmont Community College students and students of other N.C. community colleges more defined and easier to follow.
