Battle of the Bands rescheduled for Aug. 17

South Piedmont Community College’s fifth annual Battle of the Bands has been rescheduled for the evening of Friday, Aug. 17. The event was originally scheduled for April 21 but was postponed because of threatening weather.

The event is traditionally held each spring on the L.L. Polk Campus in Polkton.

It is too early to know if all the artists who were scheduled to perform earlier this month will be able to attend the rescheduled event. A list of performers will be released later in the summer.

The Battle of the Bands is sponsored by SPCC’s Student Government Association.
