More than 50 exhibitors slated for Union County Career Fair
More than 50 employers and vendors have signed up to participate in the annual Union County Career Fair this Friday (April 27) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on South Piedmont Community College’s Old Charlotte Highway Campus. The event will be in SPCC’s Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Conference Center, 4209 Old Charlotte Highway, Monroe.
With 52 vendors already set, a few more are expected to commit this week. Last year’s event had 50 vendors and around 400 participants.
The fair, which offer connections with career, educational and community resources, can be valuable for those seeking a job, for those looking to change careers and for students wishing to explore possible careers. They will be able to attend professional workshops, learn about educational and training opportunities and meet with employers.
Professional dress is required and attendees are welcome to bring resumes. Because of expected large crowds, visitors are asked to prepare for long wait times.
