The NC Back-to-Work program is supported by both the NC Community College System and the NC Department of Commerce, allowing community colleges to partner with employers as well as workforce development boards and other local agencies to help match training with areas of workforce demand. This year, eligibility has been expanded and funds from the grant may be used to provide financial assistance (tuition, books and credentialing fees) to the unemployed, underemployed (insufficient employment), veterans and members of the N.C. National Guard.

To enroll, contact Al Johnstone at South Piedmont Community College at (704) 290-5218.
